Hi all, I have put an offer on a block looking to build on it in the near future. It is a fairly sloapy block, sloaping down off the road with a 8 metre sloap over the length of the block (63 meter long block).
i just got the geotech report from the seller today and had a few questions in regards to what i should be looking for.
i noticed on the test pit report that it only goes to 1.6m. It says TEST PIT DISCONTINUED AT 1.6m (refusal on low strength sandstone).
is there any issues with this? also what else should i be looking for?
also the site classifications for the footings and slabs are rated Class P. but it is also said in the report that "from the reactivity viewpoint, the subsurface profiles below the weak clays(i.e below the depths of 0.6 - 1.5m) would be equivalent to class H conditions.
i have got the block at a good price. my question is, am i going to be paying for it later?? thanks in advance
