Just wondering if people could share their experiences with bamboo flooring. I have heard they could swell in high moisture areas - but how would you know before building. Must apologise guys as I seemed to have jumped the gun here with my post..being a newbie and all. I subsequently found the search button and located a stack of posts myself and contemplated deleting the thread. I am still interested in getting some feedback on potential swelling and warping based on moisture. 1000000% definitely add insulation. I have in my home and it makes a big difference minimising sound transfer.
