Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Mar 08, 2009 10:51 pm Hi guys,
Do most people here have enough money to build/purchase a house from their hard-earned money or is there anyone lucky enough to make most money from shares trading to afford the house? Re: Money and Shares 4Mar 09, 2009 7:44 am Combination of both of the above and a few more for us.
First bought in 1999 with a moderate size mortgage when prices had only started to go up. Worked very hard to pay that off in a couple of years. Made some money in shares in 2005 & 2006 and took a (small) redundancy package in 2006. Must add though that we're very disciplined with money and know the value of the dollar. Strange thread for a newbie, pisceanstar, and 2 posts 2 months apart, are you for real? yes mate, i only subscribed to homeone few months ago and then had to go overseas for a couple of weeks and just got back 2 weeks ago. it's been crazy in the past week or two =( Re: Money and Shares 11Mar 10, 2009 12:01 am thanks all for your comments. i've been pumping monthy salary into the mortgage and when i'm lucky and make enough from shares/forex in a weekly basis, i live off from the profit. it's not easy but i cant think of anything better how to raise more money without having to go to a workplace. Re: Money and Shares 13Mar 10, 2009 8:47 am Hard earned cash, we learnt the hard way - in fact if it wasn't for shares, we'd probably wouldn't even have this mortgage.
