Browse Forums General Discussion Re: What Front Loader would you buy? 21Mar 07, 2009 8:20 am Reminds me of a funny story.
One of the sales men tried to tell me that the reason Miele dont offer a 2 year warrenty on their washing machine, is because they are so good, that they dont need it. I said, why dont they put their money where their mouth is then. Moral of the story is: you can spin any story to make it sound positive even when its not. If the company doesnt believe in their product enough to back it up, how can you. Re: What Front Loader would you buy? 22Mar 07, 2009 1:21 pm we have an Ariston Front loader from harvey norman. had it for 2 years and its great! very quiet, never had any problems and i do a min 4 full loads of work towels a week on top of our normal washing. some people are hesitant about ariston because harvey norman staff push them because they are exclusive to them but i love ours! Re: What Front Loader would you buy? 23Mar 07, 2009 2:35 pm Our old LG was good, but the new ones we looked at have ******* cheap plastic controls that wobble when you touch them. We bought a Samsung - no complaints so far. Re: What Front Loader would you buy? 24Mar 09, 2009 10:06 am Thank you everyone for your help.
I went to The Good Guys yesterday again and checked them all out and in my price range it came down to two options really. Electrolux and Bosch. The thing that sold it for me was the look of the bosch knobs. It just looks so much easier to understand and also inside the rubber seems to seal really well. The other thing is the Bosch has a 15 min wash, which will be fantastic when I need to wash a few things quickly. I ended up getting it for $770 (minus $200 gov rebate), 6.5 kg's 400-1000 RPM. Here it is here: http://www.boschappliances.com.au/content.asp?document_id=588&category_id=86 I even got free delivery as my brother had his work ute so was able to pick it up for me, which was perfect. Only problem is that my brother and I decided that it isn't worth setting up, so I will keep it boxed until I move into my new place. I am dying to try it out though.
