This is the situation. My parents had put in a liner pool about three years ago and loved it. However, it flooded and had to be taken out. It was then discovered that the pool company had cut corners and due to multiple complaints they had to go into administration! Dollars so far out of pocket $9000 plus the price for the pool fence $3000 After getting multiple pool companies out to try and get a replacement, they have decided to go with Blue Haven Pools. The guy was very helpful and is gonna be great... until we were advised to get a step and touch report done. My parents have a house on an electrical easement and from what i have been told, a formal report has to be drawn up to deem the area suitable for a pool again. For what seemed to be a simple task has turned into a search for desperation. No one wants to come out and i don't know why???? This pool fiasco has caused so much stress and disappointment, not to mention anger and frustration, we just need this to end. If we get the hole left by the old pool, filled in, its going to cost $10,000 to reinforce, stabilise and fill so its back to normal again. My question is how can we get this report done? Has anyone had any success doing the same test? Does anyone know of anyone that can do this test.
