Does anyone have 3 phase power using a digital meter. Have you tried to get peak and off peak rates as these meters can read up to 4 tariff rates.
My meter is currently setup 2 x peak reads Agility want $400 to change setup 1x peak and 1x offpeak even though can be done on a computer in office.

Wanted retailer to read peak and off peak but can only be done if agility network supplier change setup in their computer system so billing details are different at retail end. I can read meter no problem but only getting charged one flat rate off peak rates indicated on tariff are only for hotwater aparently?

I believe the meter you have currently bills you on the standard, all-time rate for all electricty usage and that you would currently have either instantaneous or continuous hot water. If they are quoting to charge you $400, that would be the cost of converting the hot water to off-peak (not for ordinary usage) - and that requires more than just changing the billing details in the office. That requires an electrical contractor visting your property to perform the rewiring work, hence the charge.
If you are talking about 'time of use' billing (as it is known in NSW) , if you have a meter capable of billing that way, you would be automatically billed according to the time of day you use your power - Peak, Shoulder and Off Peak and you could still have another off peak rate for the hot water - those are the meters that can bill up to 4 tarriffs. Victoria may be slightly different though.

Yes time of use is correct. Our meter on agility system is setup as two peak reads . Want to charge $400 to change on system to 1xpeak and 1xoffpeak spoke to a lady there (agilty) once and she even quiried the price but double checked and was correct even she was suprised as can be done on their computer network it cannot be done by retailer as they receive billing info from network supplier. and our meter is a EMAIL unit which can do up to 4 tariff's. On display currently reads rate A and rate C both of which are caharged the same. was trying to get off peak at 7-8cents per kwh as people in sales dont understand the difference in the tariffs because as soon as they ask billing they tell me to get offpeak at this rate my peak rate will go up to 20-22cents but i will try and swap read data and see what happens on next bill???
