There are now 4 houses for sale near me all in the one street which is possibly not even 100m long! Weird! Yes the latest is that they stole my front door. Re: Ladies and Gents, step right up! Mernda Villages 1947Jun 24, 2010 11:31 pm lisanne I came home about 30 mins ago and as I was driving up yan yean rd and then bridgen inn rd u realised that there were no st lights - nothing! I'm really not looking forward to an iced over car in the morning - no power = car not in the garage! yep it was annoying.. it came back on at about 11.15pm at my place.. so was out for about 2 hours.. I ran my battery down in my laptop.. Also with you garage, there should be a cord thing hanging down from it.. all you have to do when the power is out is pull that cord which releases the door mechanism from the chain and then you can manually push the door open and closed.. once you close it again you just pull the cord in a certain direction to engage the lock again which will lock the door and have it ready for when the power goes back on. Re: Ladies and Gents, step right up! Mernda Villages 1948Jun 25, 2010 9:03 am oh awesome, thanks Andy - it was late and cold and I couldn't be bothered figuring it out lol!
