Mernda Villages 1133Sep 26, 2009 12:26 pm Haven They certainly are making up for lost time. We've had 4 official rain delay days, so that's probably why. They're doing all 3 at once, I believe. We should have a walk through soon; assuming there's something to walk through. I'll probably see it on the weekend sometime. H2B, thanks for your tip about the clotheslines. We bought a Daytek line last week to replace our old one that had about 3 lines left on it. Pity that the weather is spoiling my fun because all of the clothes on it are dripping wet. I hope you got to walk through your frame today before that hail came. Kids and I were watching it land in the pool when we saw your car out there. It's like Winter again! I hope none of the rain days were for this week as they've been there everyday this week working Made good progress, very exciting for you guys. Going to be interesting to watch the timelines for all three houses. Have you met your SS yet? He's a nice guy No probs re Daytek, always good when you can get something cheaper Yes it is a pity about the weather, I got all my washing done last Monday but of course it's all piled up again. DH gets home tonight so he'll have a week of washing to add to it Bam Ladies and gents, I need your help! As part of a KK Im in, I need to buy presents on the following: 1. Something to nibble on (I was thinking of buying those little love heart lollipops on those long sticks for her little girl) 2. This is my busy birthday time of the year (five b'days in five weeks, 3 down, two to go). I had enough trouble thinking of something for my daughter a few days ago let alone Christmas I have no idea what to get my kids for Christmas this year.....they don't need anything. All my 7yo requested for her birthday was some envelopes kek Has anyone tried the Indian place in the Danaher Business Centre on McDonald's Rd? I think it's called Cafe Saffron? Not me either Kek. Although I did go to a nice Mexican plan in Fairfield with some friends a few weeks back. VengaPalace Hi everyone, Any update on the if the sewage is connected ??????? I know nothing about the sewer, I didn't even know it was an issue for some residents until aajinoz brought it up. Maybe send her a PM and see if she has any updates? We don't have any problems with sewer or smell where we are Which release are in you? Is your land titled already? Maybe the sales office has info on the sewer Happy at Home Re: Ladies and Gents, step right up! Going to be interesting to watch the timelines for all three houses. Have you met your SS yet? He's a nice guy I didn't walk through the frame myself; so muddy, and it kept raining at first. The kids were getting impatient so we didn't want to encourage them to get out of the car. We now have 6 rain days. The last 2 being the 17th/18th of the month. It is exciting yet strange to see something finally happen on the block. We haven't met the SS yet; hubby has spoken to him by phone. Hopefully soon! I'm glad you say he's nice! Bam, I was thinking maybe a photo frame? Another idea, if she likes music, is an iTunes card? Re: Ladies and Gents, step right up! I think I had to wait about 45mins.. they had to take the phones of the hook as it was crazy!! I had the flake snack pack and it was a huge piece of fish.. probably will go with the cheaper debbas fish pack next time which is probably a little smaller... very tasty though.. my DW had a lamb souvlaki and she gave it the tick of approval.. much nicer than the south morang one she said.. I went for a drive this arvo (to stalk my block - again! - no changes except will need to mow soon as the grass has grown so long and there are flowers/nasty purple weeds everywhere).......anyway, I finally tried Debba's fish'n'chips for a snack. The scallops were fantastic and the chips aok. I agree with your DW WBA, and have given it the tick of approval as well. On my little sojourn I also visited the new Bentley display homes which opened this weekend. They were great. Fantastic interior decorating. I also loved the painted and wall-papered feature walls. I was impressed with their quality and workmanship. Re: Ladies and Gents, step right up! Mernda Villages 1140Sep 28, 2009 11:24 pm So I might be paranoid, but I'm worried our land wont be titled in time and our start date will be pushed back. I've just been reading a thread about Highlands Estate in Craigieburn and it seems like people have been given alot of faulse promises about when their land will be ready for settlement. We are building in Stage 80 at MV and were intially told by the sales consultant that land would be titled in August. When we signed our contract we were advised that we would be waiting until September. Now we've been given two different responses - we've been advised that land will be ready in October but conveyancer has been told it wont be until mid November. We are suppose to start building in December with PD. I've also read many threads about people who've had their start times pushed back for 6+ months because land wasn't ready when it was suppose to be. We're desperate to move out of our rental - two rent increases in the last twelve months are killing us. Is there anyone who would be willing to share their experiences about land settlement in Mernda Villages? the step up is 30mm and wanting it to be flat . how much does the concrete have to be lowered .we plan on removing bath and lenghten shower and adding seat. the old bath… 0 11881 Do I need to concern about this pattern of crack?
