When choosing a selection that will be external NEVER look at it inside.
This will never be the true colour; you should ALWAYS take your samples outside to see how it will look in the sun, or in the shade.
While choosing selections for internal, NEVER take them outside to look at them, this will also give you a false colour. How many times did I see people take a carpet sample out of the shop to look at the colour of that sample in the sun.
It made me laugh, I just couldn’t help but ask them where lay laying carpet instead of lawn???
Always remember, if you are choosing a selection for a certain part of your home look at in the same lighting that selection will be going in or on.
Never look at your external paint colours internally either, these too have to be view from outside, before you make the final decision. You will be surprised how much they will change once taken outside in the light.
