Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Feb 26, 2007 7:08 am Hi Guys,
I am looking at buying a new home, but the current owners do not have the house plans. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the house plans? The house was only built a few years ago, so I would assume the would be registered somewhere. Cheers WIlson Re: House Plans 2Feb 26, 2007 8:03 am Either their bank or the local Council should have a copy.
Find out who built it and who inspected it. The building inspector/surveyor would definitely have a copy. You will need to pay a fee generally to get a copy out of the Council or a bank. Really tight at the top of the stairs- how to get furniture into those rooms? Study books - does anyone really use them these days? Large storage closet would be more functional. 2 6882 6 11528 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13745 |
