I am purchasing an exisiting home which has original terracotta roof tiles. I am told these cannot be painted. We are going to cement render the house and arent sure what colour to paint it. Can anyone suggest a colour scheme that will go well with the red/orange roof tiles? Thanks! Re: colour to go with terracotta tiles 2Feb 12, 2009 4:52 pm Oh hello and welcome to my nightmare. I am building in an estate with covenants where Terracotta roof colours have to be used. I am very familiar with your dilemma.
I personally like the Tuscan look with Terracotta rooftiles. Light, stone coloured render or masonry. Google Tuscan houses and lots of ideas will come up.
