Then silicone it in upside down over the existing outet. You will need to enure your gutters remain pretty clear or leaves. The water will not flow down the pipe unless the water in the gutter rises enough to flow over this plastic.

The leaf catcher is no much for a heavy Brisbane thunderstorm.
