The next room we're renovating we want a built in in the tv room with floor to ceiling cupboards on either end and a desk in the middle with drawers under and space for chair and shelves above. can we order materials direct from laminex? do we just work out sizes of each piece... could it possibly be as simple as that?! Re: Order direct from Laminex? 2Feb 08, 2009 12:24 pm Laminex don't really do cut to size...although their latest update about their range of unassembled cabinetry did suggest that they were moving towards custom specified cabinets.
How flexible these customizations will be regarding the designs you have in mind would remain to be seen. If you just want boards cut to size for you to assemble I don't think you will do that well with them. It might be worth your while sending your design to someone local who supplies made to order unassembled cabinetry, as they tend to have a lot of contacts in the industry besides just the one big name, and can often offer you some very competitive solutions in other suppliers products.
