Unfortunately, one half of the rear of the house is on a concrete slab and the other half is joist/bearers. I am also planning a small extension on the side of the house that currently sits on the concrete slab.
Would it be better to concrete the remaining sub-floor space? or would it be better to remove the current slab and put everything on stumps? The front of the cottage has recently been re-stumped. Would there be issues going forward if the front is on stumps and the rear is on a slab?
