Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Feb 03, 2009 1:53 pm Hi
I was thinking on building a house at my backyard and a couple of weeks ago I have a contact from the people from Backyard Brokers. Their services doesn't seems to be bad. They offer to take care of the town planning , the building permits and the subdivision permits, and later the chance of building with some builders that work with them or choose your own builder. They offer a team of architects and other professionals that help you decide what is the best and what can you build at your back. Does someone have had any experience with them? Can someone recomend them? Thanks for your help Cheers Re: Subdivision and Develop:Any XPrience with Backyard Brokers? 3Mar 05, 2009 4:10 pm The packege cost was about 17k, including an taylor-made design from their Architects. I cannot remember what they told me about estimated costs, but everyhting was included on the package.
I still haven't decided what to do, specially because of the economical situation. Re: Subdivision and Develop:Any XPrience with Backyard Brokers? 5Mar 10, 2009 3:37 pm I believe we're in the same boat. I've also received a quote from this company totaling approximately $19,0000. However, it appears the original website has completely changed into a different service.
http://www.backyardbrokers.com.au/ A rather dramatic change don't you think? Re: Subdivision and Develop:Any XPrience with Backyard Brokers? 6Mar 11, 2009 3:43 pm Hi md_au
You are Right. It looks like the website is something totally different and has nothing to do with backyard brokers. I have spoken with the saleman that came to my house one week ago and he didn't mention any changes. Well actually he mention that now they offer 24 months interest free finantiation for their fee. Did you ever went to their office in Oakleigh. If I decide to work with them I will definetevely stop off at their office for a personal talk. Let me know if you have any news or decide something Cheers Eze Re: Subdivision and Develop:Any XPrience with Backyard Brokers? 7Mar 11, 2009 4:17 pm My guess is that their domain got hijacked or such.
