We are getting plumbing quotes for our house (elevated floor, not slab) and are finding some plumbers are quoting for copper pipe, others for the newer plastic technology. Would be interested to hear feedback on both applications, pls. The alternative to copper is the auspex or rehau systems, which is plastic piping with crimped fittings, rather than the flared fittings that copper use.
