In winter I do like the jersey/t-shirt material bedclothes. They don't look as nice because they lack crispness but they are lovely to snuggle down into. Target has got some really good sheets now, their 1000 thread count range is pretty good and great for colour matching. I used to do the whole name brand thing but noticed that their quality seemed to disappear over the years. The highest TC they have without being 'sateen' is 400

I've got about 4 sets in various colours, i have bought over the past 2 years! I just love their Mocha colour!!! Now unfortunately, i refuse to sleep in anything under 1000 count! Once you've had 1000 count, you cant go back, even to my lovely 500 count sheridan sheets!!!! (I'm not being precious or anything, its just so wonderfully warm and confortable!) I have in my new house budget a figure of $5,000 to spend on new linen and none of that will be under 1000 count. (for the record it includes towels and I'm changing bedsizes so that will include doona, mattress underlay etc as well as sheets). PERI 60% Cotton, 40% Bamboo......... We cannot sleep on anything else now that we have experienced the best, the difference is so noticable, previously we only had 400+ egyptian cotton etc etc......but now this is it for us, worth every penny!!! They wash well (we wash weekly and they come up like new everytime!) Bought from Essendon DFO Sheridan shop. Never looked back! Just had a look at the website on them, sounds great! Will have a look for them next time I'm at DFO The good news is, we slept on the 1200 TC ones last night and loved them, I don't think they are sateen after all so it's all good.
