Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jan 12, 2009 3:04 pm Hi Everyone,
I am looking for a builder to do a few small jobs and would like to know if anyone has any recommendations for the Melbourne area. Here's a summary of what we are looking to do: 1. Prop up the back corner of the house - or re-stump. The windows are not level and the tiles in the kitchen and back extension have cracked due to the shift in ground. I suspect it may need to be restumped?? 2. Once that structural stuff is done we would like to knock down an load bearing wall - not sure if this is possible or not? 3. Then we would like to replace the existing tiles in the extension with new floorboards and re-sand the old ones and restain. 4. We also have some minor electrical works that needs to be done... Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks, Nat Re: Looking for reasonable priced builder for small jobs in Melb 2Jan 12, 2009 3:23 pm Hi,
