I have seen White Bricklaying Sand which I would like to use to get a better mortar match for the existing work. Are there any issues in using this sand against the 'normal' orange bricklaying sand? I have also seen different ratios for it - 80/20 and 70/30. What exactly is this a ratio of?
What would be a good sand/concrete/lime mix ratio for it? Would the old 6/1/1 do the trick? I have been told 7/1/¼ would be the way to go.
