Today I noticed a couple of possibly older tile roof homes in a neighboring street that look absolutely terrible because of lifting and faded paint. I guess its a cosmetic thing BUT once you do it you have to repeat the expensive exercise every few years. Me? I let mine fade to blend in with most other nearby roofs. We had a clean and fungicide done, at least 70 tiles were replaced, re-bedding of caps, a total re-point, and 2 coats of colour.
