ok so....when they did the brick work on the side of the house that meets with the neighbour (our house is a corner block) they have done it from the inside, causing the mortar to overflow and go onto the fence and leave the side looking very messy.
We have spoken to our SS about this and he advised this will be rectified and they will need to remove the fence to clean up the side of the house and morter overflow.
To our horror we received an email today stating that WE must remove the fence our self so they can clean the side of the house because as owners of the land we are responsible for the removal of the fence....
Does this sound right to anyone?
I dont even know how we are going to remove it.. because as from all the overflow of the mortar the fence looks like it would almost be concreted in place!! and if we do remove it for them to clean the side the neighbour is going to be without a fence until they arrange for another one to get installed (and he has a dog) so not the most convenient situation!
