Cheers Kruger National Park - An amazing place to visit Re: Brimbank Gardens, Derrimut VIC 25Jun 02, 2009 7:48 pm Hi, What was your expected title date? We had a 9 week delay in stage 29B. Cheers, Kruger National Park - An amazing place to visit Re: Brimbank Gardens, Derrimut VIC 26Jun 02, 2009 8:41 pm My brother is waiting for his land to title, I can't remember which stage but it was due to title in August I think With the 4m setback, is it easy to have say a 5m setback if both of your neighbors have 4m or do they all have to be 4m? My karma ran over your dogma Re: Brimbank Gardens, Derrimut VIC 27Jun 02, 2009 9:46 pm Hey, Should be expecting title in the next few weeks. I can't remember the amount of times I have been given different dates. Ah the joys of building...! Then hopefully a July start date, to which I hope comes around earlier. Meanwhile with the 4m setback, 1m really would not make much of a difference, but for me, i would rather have more out the back than the front. Cheers Re: Brimbank Gardens, Derrimut VIC 29Jun 03, 2009 3:45 pm Hi Fellow Derrimut people, I am building in 31c or 30c I think it is, which is expected to be titled around Feb/March but possibly will take until April. My worry is regarding the grant, signing in the last minute of Sept but no guarantee about a slab being laid within 6 months, its a bit of a worry. The SRO can't give me an answer to what happens if it goes slightly over 6months. Because it is off the plan and out of my control, does anyone know anything about this situation. I think I pretty much have to wait and see what they decide to do. Re: Brimbank Gardens, Derrimut VIC 30Jun 03, 2009 9:27 pm Hi Guys, I was out there on Saturday checking the progress of our site and I real estate for sales boards in the front of two blocks in either stage 32A or 32B. I thought they must have titled. Cheers Kruger National Park - An amazing place to visit Re: Brimbank Gardens, Derrimut VIC 33Jun 04, 2009 11:35 am jayR Hi Adam. Iam in the same situation. Iam building in stage 31b due to be titled in Dec and a site start with PD in Feb. Im signing the contract late september to give me a bit of a buffer with FHOG until late March. If the title gets delayed and you ended up exceeding the 6month build requirement i really doubt that the SRO will deny us of the grant. My proposal to the bank is that iam using the fhog of 32k as part of my contribution to my loan and so if grant is denied everything falls apart. The purpose of the grant is to encourage building (which has worked) and the 6month deadline, (in my view) is to encourage building as soon as possible so people dont slack of. Crossing my finger that common sense will prevail! JR Good luck, i'm going with PD as well, they've said Feb/March. I wish I knew what would happen though. Because if it did go over 6 months and lost the boost, it may be more beneficial to sign late December, to ensure 25k. Re: Brimbank Gardens, Derrimut VIC 34Jun 04, 2009 12:39 pm Hi everyone, I'm wondering if anybody knows what the situation is regarding the next stage release (33) at Brimbank Gardens? I spoke to Geraldine in late February and she informed me that there would be a release in 2-3 weeks time. 3 weeks later nothing was mentioned about any land release so I made another visit to Geraldine to find out. She then told me that it would be release prior to Easter (early April) yet nothing happened. I know several people who have purchased or are also looking to purchase land there who have shared the same concerns as me. It's been 3 and a half months since I first spoke to her and I've still haven't heard from her or Peet. Is anyone here looking to purchase land for the next release? Cheers Re: Brimbank Gardens, Derrimut VIC 35Jun 04, 2009 3:00 pm wb_09 Hi everyone, I'm wondering if anybody knows what the situation is regarding the next stage release (33) at Brimbank Gardens? Cheers Hi, Did you put your name down on the waiting list to be contacted when its released for public, what i understand, you had to put your name down, then they call a shortlist and you had to go line up (camp out) - Because it is so popular, I was told I would have little chance, so I got the land through a builder (PD) Re: Brimbank Gardens, Derrimut VIC 36Jun 04, 2009 8:33 pm adammm wb_09 Hi everyone, I'm wondering if anybody knows what the situation is regarding the next stage release (33) at Brimbank Gardens? When I camped out we found out that some blocks had already been taken by the builders. I am sure there is a deal when builders build display homes they get first crack at the blocks. And then spoke to PD and they have informed me that the house has been approved by Peet, so construction should begin very very soon! Exciting news! So much so, I'm smiling like a Cheshire Cat. Cheers Re: Brimbank Gardens, Derrimut VIC 39Jun 10, 2009 9:06 pm Congratulations! It is going to be a busy area with all the new house starts. Our slab is scheduled for tomorrow but with the weather the last few days, do not not like the chances. Fingers crossed. Kruger National Park - An amazing place to visit I have posted this before: We hired Darbecca to do every stage inspection, and I strongly recommend them to anyone that asks me. They were amazing.
