It was initially going to be 4 stories and 23 dwellings. viewtopic.php?p=676658#p676658 http://www.brimbank.vic.gov.au/files/a0 ... port_5.pdf There was a rejection last year mainly on the height and bulk of the building (4 storeys) and the harshness of it's character (sparse car park area). http://www.brimbank.vic.gov.au/files/aa ... port_1.pdf An appeal was lodged 3 days later. A meeting on the issue was scheduled for June this year, but it seems like they think it would be faster to just bury one of the stories under ground (basement level) and lodge a new application and hope it gets less objections. Coincidently, only one objection was received for the triple double storey on the corner of Capesthorne Drv and Windsor (opposite the purple house) so it will most likely go through. About the only thing stopping it now is cost of building vs recouping of investment. The falling house prices will diminish chances of making a suitable profit on it. Re: Brimbank Gardens, Derrimut VIC 940Feb 27, 2012 12:26 pm Rio, BHP and Outotec all have divisions in Melbourne I'll be up north (China) next month when I try to start up a new baby furnace - and when I say 'baby' I mean it only produces $2mil worth of copper a day instead of the normal $10mil a day. I have posted this before: We hired Darbecca to do every stage inspection, and I strongly recommend them to anyone that asks me. They were amazing. Thorough reports… 2 4504 |
