Browse Forums General Discussion Re: Advice on neighbours 42Dec 08, 2008 5:03 pm sammy We are trying to ignore them, a bit hard, since yesterday our neighbour's boyfriend threatened us! He came to us and said, in a very threatening way, that if we stress her (our neighbour) one more time, we would have to deal with him! Excuse me, who started this???Who is stressing who???? From now on, we would just have to completely ignore them. Living next door will be difficult if you let this go and try to ignore them. I am sure the landscaper has transfered all blame to you in his dealings with your neighbour, and she has passed everything on to her boyfriend. Take some flowers, see your neighbour and tell them you have no problem with them, tell them your argument is with the landscaper, and that they won't hear from you again. They can't be unhappy with that and you get to stay on normal relations. In case things get out of hand with the landscaper or your neighbour, keep a diary of events - this is a good one!!! And you have 1424 witnesses to the account to date... and counting!!! Ed "ECOECO" At 'EcoEco', we design windows, we design the best windows, we do it for you, so that when you’re happy we are happy. I'd just try to forget the whole thing. Smile if you happen to meet, show that there's no hard feelings, but no more than that. Who knows how a peace gesture may be interpreted by loonies ? Crazy boyfriend sees you with flowers at the door ? Best to have no contact imo. Do the hard jobs first. No one in their right mind would peruse it! It’s a bluff. I for one, would not even bother to send one for that amount. This should be under the problem pet thread... the boyfriend is being over protective because he sees a threat to his master (mistress?). Give him a treat... don't look him directly in the eye, approach him from the side, don't make any sudden moves. Never take his bone... If it was me, I would visit, but maybe it will be a different boyfriend soon... Life is easier if you don't make an enemy of your neighbour...
