It may be worth you having a look at a company called Metropole Property Management : http://www.metropole.com.au/ We actually found our previous and current rental through them. The previous one we lived in was eventually demolished and two properties are currently being built there. I think the one we are in at the moment will eventually be demolished and a new house built. It seems to be what they specialise in, helping you find the property and then organising renting it out until you are ready to develop (which I think they organise), or managing investment properties.
