Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Nov 17, 2008 4:08 pm So let me set the scene ... we have been in our lovely PD house for almost 18 months now. The backyard had absolutely nothing done to it for the first 12 months, but recently we made a decision to get the patio done, in time for christmas.
Lots has been done in preparation for these dam pavers!! My work mates are getting sick of hearing about it . As you all know, it takes time and money ... I was happy to wait as we saved each week for the next section of backyard to be done. As we are doing everything cash (husband decides we won't be getting a loan to complete the landscaping) I knew it was going to take about 12 months to get the whole backyard done. Dear husband promises to have patio done by christmas day .. in writing .... then after that, I can stop nagging and money no longer needs to be focussed on landscaping. In some crazy, twisted turn of events, we are picking up his brand new, limited edition Kawasaki ZX14 tomorrow afternoon ... with the promise of pavers sometime in the new year. It's a good thing it's a nice looking bike ... although I keep telling him that we can't entertain on a motorbike!!!! Boys and their toys!!!!! Many years ago husband bought a dirt bike with the promise i could fly to NYC for the ballet.... Lets say I am still waiting ... At least the bike is in pieces at the moment for a rebuild.. I have told him I have hidden some of the bolts plane ticket please.. nesspop Why am I covered in feathers Appreciate that Chippy. I won’t do sand under pavers and will connect all up under pavers, however I was going to do: 1) Roadbase compacted with manual hand tamper 2)… 10 18532 |
