Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Nov 29, 2024 11:48 am Hi all, just wondering if it is worth chasing an ex builder for outstanding amounts following a domestic building insurance claim where the DBI doesn't quite cover the full amount that could be claimed for in court, because of the limited coverage of the DBI. Let's assume the builder declared insolvency (which triggers the DBI claim) but then phoenixes into a clone of their previous company. Has anyone in the collective hive experienced this?
