I enquired with my local water authority and no permit required if relocating under 600mm. I plan on doing this myself on a weekend. Tap and meter.
How hard is it ? I read the inline pipe is 25mm poly and therefore can be clamped while I relocate the meter. I plan on soldering the connections and not using shark grips. May even put it underground.

Anything upstream of the connection between the meter and the line going to your house belongs to the relevant water authority and messing about with it could potentially introduce contamination to the supply of other users. You need a licenced plumber. You can't "clamp" a main water feed. That alone tells me you have no idea.
