We are in the process of purchasing a completed house and land package in Leppington and our solicitor does not agree that we should sign the contract that includes a Re sale deed. He said that this is usually a part of contract if the purchase is off the plan for the purpose of making sure that the purchaser cannot change the builder or sell it for profit etc.
The vendor did not agree to remove it for the reason that the developer requires it to be part of the contract. Our solicitor is negotiating further but just like to check here if anyone has the similar experience or if has more insight on this.
