I've found for the past few years, a number of the nails holding it in place are popping up to 5mm out of the sheets. I've tried hammering them back in, but 2 months later they are out again. I've even pulled a couple out, put a little liquid nails on them and hammered them back in, to no avail. Has anyone found a long term solution for this? If the spacing between fixings is smaller than what’s recommended for expansion. Check your Hardie sheets fixings recommendation. Information may be available on James Hardie website. Thanks I would replace the nails with timber or gyprock screws.
