Hi guys,
The downpipe I've marked up with yellow was blocked. Long story short, I have unblocked, I've cut it and left discharging on the top of the garden bed, so all the rainwater will be going right next to that brick wall. I understand this can be a problem as it can lead to that brick column/garage potentially settling/moving, however being Perth, the soil is quite sandy so I'm hoping the water will just go through.
Do you think I need to run water to the soakwell or can i just leave it discharging next to the brick wall?

B AYou need to connect the pipe to a legal point of discharge which is supposed to take this amount of stormwater water and discharge it safely.
