1964 Home Fibrous Plaster- any asbestos?

Hi Team, we recently purchased a 1964 weatherboard home and are looking to re plaster in some rooms. I’ve come across this stuff (see picture) in linen cupboards and was wondering if anyone had come across it before or new what it is. I have a feeling it’s fibrous plaster board with horse hair or some other type of fibre. Any ideas if it contains asbestos or is dangerous.
