Hi all,
My neighbour has recently had his Modularwalls fence installed. It’s retaining the neighbours side which is raised, with my side being lower and sloping. The installer has recently installed an agi pipe on the neighbours side of the fence, but ducked it under the fence and now it’s just laying on top the ground in my garden.
We just had a pretty big downpour and it’s resulted in swimming pools of water on my side - I’ll drop a photo below.
The installer did a bit of a cop out with the agi pipe, because there’s a tree trunk/root system (that I had to chop down for the fence) and the fence footing, there’s no place to for it to be routed in ground. Plus, I’m not even sure if the agi pipe is meant to be on my side, even though there is no place for it to go on the neighbours side. I was going to stump grind the tree trunk, and dig a trench myself with mattock / lie it under ground.
I was also planning on temporarily gravelling the garden bed section until I came back later and concrete the whole area, which I’m not sure I can even do that now as the gravel will in all likelihood be washed and/or I’ll still end up with swimming pools of water.
Does anyone have any ideas on what to do in order to resolve the problem? Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅
