Tile roof has been replaced with Colourbond roofing and passed the inspection check. I have noticed that the house has started to pop and creak a lil more than usual after moving in for less than a year. It doesn’t matter which room, and it can happen throughout the day. The pop and creak is loud enough to rattle the dogs and I. I had a roofer and electrician looked into the manhole and subfloor and both claim the house to have sufficient insulation and ventilation. I have noticed that when my direct neighbour on the left slams their door, the house vibrates or gives out a pop sound with 30/40db. When he slams something in his shed 20m away from my room/kitchen, or uses the electricity there, it causes my fridge to purr and pop. At nighttime, the sound usually starts past midnight, the ceiling and sharing wall with the fridge would pop or creak a few times every hour, and I can hear the pipes behind my bed. Can anyone shed some light to the cause of this issues? As I mentioned in previous post, the fridge purrs and the house pops when they slam their doors. Has this happen to anyone? We used to have a tile roof and had it replaced with colorbond and suddenly everything throughout the entire house sounds louder! -= Are you still using a notebook or spreadsheet to keep track of your customers and appointments? And is it possible to disconnect the duct joined to the vent from inside the house, without going into the roof cavity? 0 6045 There is water getting into the ceiling, I expected to find some holes in the corrugated roof but there weren't any so I suspect that the roof drip edge is letting water… 0 2476 |
