Solar system question

Hi, I am thinking installing a solar system for my home, have no knowledge about it, can you give some advice?

17 x 390W Jinko Solar Panels (12-Year Warranty/25-Year Power Guarantee)
1 x 5kW SolaX X1 Boost Single-Phase Inverter (10-Year Warranty)

I will have swimming pool and ducting heating at home.

Are these a reliable brand and set up? I have 3 phase power installed and this gives a single phase inverter, does it matter? Or if you know how much does it costs me for above including installation.

Hi Althom, thanks for the information, I have read it and I think this set of system is an entry level. To me, as long as it's enough for my house it will be fine, they all have over 10 years warranty.

Solax Single Phase Inverters
Solax single phase inverters are standard solar inverters that are sometimes called grid-tie or non-islanding inverters. They don’t support the use of battery storage or allow electricity from solar panels to be used when the grid is down.
Homes with these type of inverters can have battery storage installed, but it will need to operate independently from the inverter and either be connected with a DC converter such as the Goodwe GW2500-BP or a battery-inverter such as the Sunny Boy Storage. The Tesla Powerwall 2 has a battery-inverter that allows it to be used with any solar inverter.
While they are single phase inverters, they can be used by homes that have 3-phase power.

And seriously look at the company doing the work.

We are in WA and the company that installed air con had been operating for many years and had lots of customer reviews. After we then installed the solar through the same company (with a good discount). All good, great after sales support.
Fast forward 3 years and the solar unit has a few error codes and not producing sufficient power. Yep. They closed their doors. Had to pay some one else heaps to fix.

So make sure they are a good solid company.

If you have three-phase power at home and the inverter is single-phase, you should ask an expert to ensure it all works well together, especially since you have a swimming pool and heating.

Depending on where you live and other details, the cost can change significantly, so it's a good idea to ask a few local companies how much they charge.

Also, I found a good battery for my solar system online. I bought a LiFePo4 48V 200AH 10 KW acumulator for about 500 euros. It's been good at storing the extra power.

I have installed it and it’s a 13.2kw with a three phase inverter, after research and conclusion was to install as big system as I can, electricity price increased a lot compare a couple of years ago.

Honestly, Solax panels have a reputation for being low end inverters. Stay away from them. There are much better budget inverters out there. Jinko panels have come a fair way, they are also a good budget panel. But you should opt for the tiger neo 440w, with a 25yr warranty.
