Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Dec 18, 2023 4:51 pm A couple of Construction sites were targeted last Friday night. One in particular was also vandalised where offenders entered the property and completely pulled out down light wiring from gyprock and cut heavy wires at the walls so air cond and hot water appliances can not be installed without invasive modification. I suspect there may not be a remedy to rewire without going back to pre sheet stage ie remove plaster from walls and ceiling to rewire again from switch board, or the other option may be to have external wiring running back into the house but that would not look great. I think electrician soldering wires to a junction plate to join wires at the stump may create too much resistance so not viable. Has any one came across this dilemma before? Different to what others have said but thanks for that insight. 2 5241 Thanks for much mate. I see that you do cabinets before flooring. For timber flooring, for most parts it's fine because it's got base plates, and for door jabs you can… 7 13017 Not unless you have managed to put it as a special condition into the contract somehow. 1 6247 |
