Browse Forums General Discussion Re: Does this Bedroom + Ensuite Make any Sense? 2Dec 04, 2023 8:58 am cobey61 I'm trying to squeeze a (queen) bedroom + ensuite into an odd-shaped space as part of a renovation. The external shape/dimensions of the space can't be changed in any way, but the interior can be manipulated in any way (e.g., no plumbing issues). This room would initially be used as a guest bedroom for travelling family members (who visit often and need a desk space to work from), and in the future might serve as a teenager / young adult bedroom (again, need a desk for homework etc.). I don't mind if the room feels "compact", but don't want it to feel cramped, claustrophobic or weird. I'm concerned that the angled door will look really bad, but can't think of another option. For windows: the bedroom would have a big window above the desk and, optionally, a skylight, and the ensuite would have a skylight and/or a frosted window between the vanity and shower. TLDR: Does this work OK as-sketched, or are there major design/build/usability issues? Hence the question, just hoping someone would… 2 8608 6 40655 This house has potentional, but what would you do to the exterior of the house to give it more street appeal? 0 11859 |
