Hi,
We want to reuse the water for our veggie garden (we're basically using 250L / day for that – so if I can grab some from the bioseptic, it would help us a lot)
We purchased a house with a bioseptic system. The outlet is relatively clean, although not enough for veggies. I did some tests, and the EC, TDS, Turbidity, Chloride and hardness are quite high. Apparently safe for animals and fruits according to the Department of Primary Industries.
I am planning to add 2 extra filtration post the bioseptic. 1 bathtub with worms and coarse wood pine mulch, followed by another bathtub with reeds and scoria gravels.
I hope this will filter a bit more and make it usable for my veggie patch. I will definitely do more testing before that. I am not sure what else I could do though.
Anyone has any thoughts on this ...and really is there a way I can reuse our gray+blacwater for a veggie garden?
