I just had a run-in with a glass comapny in canberra. I had a mirror cut - 3 mm by 1 metre square . broke while handling when I got it home even before I had removed it from the bubble wrap. manager refused to take any responsibility for what is poor materials or possibly fracture that was there when I collected it. It is not credible that it could break just by handling. especially when the original had survived a 1200 km trip from brisbane in a trailer. I am taking this up with fair trading as well.

How did you go with Fair Trading?
came down to my word/his word i could not prove I did not drop it and cause the damage myself.
I can accept this, but am still very upset over the attitude. glass does not break during handling!!!
