Grout hasn't gone in yet and have noticed these two chips in the mitred edge on one stone tile. Do I bring it up with the builder to replace or will this not be noticeable once the grout has gone in? It will stick out like a sore thumb overwise. Also tiler will be siliconing the miters rather than grouting. Grouted miters crack over time and look bad. Silicone allows for movement. Hi Courtney The mitred edges are glued up with epoxy so those little holes and gaps are areas that weren't filled correctly. Silicone is the wrong product to fill them… 2 12933 Looking to tile the facade pillars rather than rendering. Builder is quoting 2500$ laying cost for upto 10msq. The 2 pillars come to be 16msq.
