Hi,
Has anyone tried/looked previously into SureFoot foundations?
https://surefootfootings.com.au/
Looks like they are offering a truely economical and labour saving alternative to bored piers and waffle pod foundations, can significantly reduce amount of earthworks and levelling needed for the site and you still can easily pour concrete slab on top of the SureFoot installations but it won't be load-bearing and will be working as a suspended slab, so you can save something on additional reinforcement, too.
It seems that using SureFoot with perimeter steel beams with 100 mm concrete slab pre-enhanced with HelixSteel fibres and RadMix can help to prepare slabs for relatively big houses in just 3-4 days (including plumbing) with just a couple of labourers and a small excavator at probably 1/3 of a current pricing.
At the same time the performance and resistance to moisture movements should be comparable or even better than with rafted slabs, especially if 100-150 mm layer of compacted sand or gravel is used as a pad for the slab.
