Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Mar 08, 2023 10:36 am I'm looking at installing quickstep impressive. I was originally going to go vinyl for easy cleaning. Is this a good product, they say it's waterproof. My concern is, as it has grooves to make it look like real timber, would these be a dirt trap the same as tiles when the grout gets dirty. I'm thinking I may have to get down and scrub in the grooves over time and due to my mobility won't be able to do that. I appreciate any feed back. Thank you. The grooves are very minimal and more for aesthetic and we haven't noticed them capturing any more dirt/grime than anywhere else. We've had a few spills on them and they don't show any evidence of water damage and clean very easily. Can't personally fault them and would recommend. Re: Grooves in timber laminate 3Mar 08, 2023 1:27 pm That's good to hear thankyou. Do they show up footprints. In my last house I had the large porcelain tiles and they were a nightmare to keep clean. What colour floor did you go with ?
