Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Mar 04, 2023 8:21 am Painters: what would you do? I’m painting water based over oil based trims, & the first coat of undercoat / primer has failed the scratch test. I sanded with 120 grit paper before the first coat, but now I’m thinking I didn’t sand sufficiently because several areas fail the scratch test. Should I remove it & re-sand? And would you remove it with Metho? Or something else? Advice welcome. Is it necessary to oil underneath the boards before laying? 0 8834 Hi, as per the subject. Does anyone have any recommendations for the best value decking oil (Bunning is close to where I live) for a treated pine deck? Thanks 0 21557 |
