How long & how much does take to get this done before moving onto the building stage? So we've placed a 0.25% deposit down for a property in Woy Woy (vacant land) and want to build a house on it. The problem is we only found out about missing connections from the home builders when they went out for site surveying. As such we are only finding this out during our cooling-off period - and we are worried this may take a lot longer than we thought before we can commence building (all builders pushed back saying this needs to be done before they can start work). Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on how we resolve this? Is it an easy fix? Any leverage over the Agent/Owners due to this reason?
