Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Feb 28, 2023 11:53 am Hi All Im laying a new slab on top of the old slab in the picture below, I have chipped away the tiles and the mortar from the area needing the new slab It will be 75 deep, Im struggling to find the best approach - Some people say bind, others say dont. What im leaning toward is the following but I would love some more feedback 1 - Fill existing hole in slab with generic concrete and wait a couple days 2 - Go the bonded route 3 - Put some Reo posts into the concrete 400mm by 400mm 4 - The slab still has a layer of mortar which is really hard to remove so i was going to leave it as in the photo and etch it with some acid 5- Use Bondall bondcrete 6- Poor 75mm Slab with Reo Any tips or suggestions around my proposal would be great Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I recently went through a similar renovation and move scenario when updating our family home.
