so, im getting all my electrical quotes in at the mo, noticed 1 of them had "earth slab under shower area" listed in it. can anyone shed some light on this for me? im guessing not all electritians do this, as no1 else had quoted for it, and i hadnt planned on electrical being ran under/in slab. so is it worth getting this done, and is it common practice? TIA! Re: q. about earth in shower area 3Oct 27, 2008 5:51 pm Yes, this is required under the Australian Standards.
The point of earthing can simply be anywhere on the slab reinforcing. It's good to see someone who is showing that detail! Electrical Engineer... Don't hold that against me... And keen owner builder... Mainly the building part!!
