A quick Google revealed McKenzie is the mob that signed off on Opal Tower, and other things reported in the news about this organisation concern me https://www.news.com.au/finance/busines ... 565dcbee73 After being challenged our builder has conceded that it is our decision on if we go with McKenzie, but they don't recommend it because construction has already started. BCA was McDonald Jones 'default' certifier in Canberra, so I presume there are others in the same situation. Have others successfully changed certifiers mid-build? Will other certifiers be reluctant to take on the job mid-build? Any other pitfalls I should be aware of?
