Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jan 11, 2023 4:08 pm Hi all, My home has a steel flat roof and due to having three air conditioners, a satellite dish, a skylight, and an antenna up there, the labour cost to have the sheets (and other items) removed and reinstalled to lay PINKbatts in the ceiling is too great. Has anyone used or know much about insulating a roof with spray foam? I saw this youtube video and it impressed me - https://youtu.be/ijDrS3zzKCw. Would you recommend it? Does anyone know anyone in Melbourne who does this? What foam brand/type/rating do I ask for? Oh no! I would use a can of expandable foam ( there are some that will take render) then cut it back and render over the top 1 7332 There is nothing in the various codes and standards that puts this requirement on the builder to do. I think that is what you are asking. Don't waste time trying to get… 5 5066 your builder would be able to answer that question accurately based on plan. 1 2127 |
