Hi all
Hope anyone could help me out with our concern in relation to the amount of bored piers and our slab type.
We started to worry about this when we noticed we have less piers compared to the preliminary drawings, even though both preliminary and final plans have site classification as “P”
We understand that the preliminary drawings do not count, but since both have site classification as P we are quite concerned about why we now have less bored piers?
We have a fixed site cost contract with the builder so we are concerned that the builder would like to avoid piering to save costs.
Did any of you have the same soil type and similar amount of bored piers and similar type slab like our final plan?
(**Our build is NOT a knock down rebuild and also it’s a double storey build)
Are we worrying unnecessarily about this?
Much appreciated your input and thoughts on this.
Thanks in advance.
