Hi all, I put up this mirror in my bathroom - thanks very much, yes I'm quite proud of myself. I used a masonry bit which was very hard and I couldn't get it all the way in but far enough that it holds.
Problem is it's not straight. only 0.0023 deg but enough to notice and drive me nuts. Now I am faced with the prospect of either drilling into the brick again or moving the clips on the back of the mirror. Either way, it's not something I can do while eyeballing the straightness. I have struck this before with hidden screws (towel rails with metal cover plates for example) How the hell are you supposed to line them up or position them when you can't see through the object you are positioning?
Do I have to make a big template out of cardboard or something?
The screws are level by the way, I put a ruler and a spirit level across it.
